Great getaway!! Beautiful neighborhood with amazingly diverse plant life and truly amazing sunsets. We spent 90% of our time on the deck with soft breezes and super comfortable seating. Alexa provided our background music.

A private hideaway that borders 60 acres of jungle with ocean views and fabulous sunsets! Walter’s place had EVERYTHING a visitor would need for a fabulous vacation— booster seats, snorkel gear, coolers, bug spray, spices, etc. The yard is stunning and full of geckos, which sing amazing songs every evening. This place is 10 minutes from Ho’okena and 25 minutes from 2-Step— both amazing places to snorkel from shore. If you are mobile enough to handle stairs, don’t hesitate to book this place. We hope to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful! Loved my stay here. There is no ac but up in the mountains it’s so cool at night we had to pull on the comforter. Amazing plants, flowers, & views. Walter would always answer promptly and even came n introduced himself to us to say if we needed anything at all please contact him. The only downside possible is if someone had a mobility issue there are stairs to get into the house. Wasn’t a problem at all for us. Would go back and stay again in a heartbeat if we ever get back to Kona.

Walter's home is amazing. The photos really do not do it justice. The view from the patio is breathtaking. Spent a lot of time just watching the ocean. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are full of toiletries (if it's listed, it's in the house), kitchen has everything you need and more. And the yard is fabulous. It's a vacation oasis.

Great, secluded, jungle-like neighborhood. The road is VERY steep and dark at night when we arrived. A bit of an adventure! For the most part everything was super, and Walter was very responsive to any questions or requests we had. Two things to note: the toilet in the master bedroom is VERY SMALL - like a toddler/preschool sized commode - so be ready for a thigh workout. Second, the burners on the outdoor grill weren’t heating up past 350degrees so we couldn’t use it to cook any meats. Other than that we had a fantastic time. Best sunset and sunrise views in Kona. Mahalo!
