Lovely well kept house. Beautiful location with nice screened in porch/deck to sit and enjoy sunrise or sunset. House was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Host was responsive. Would stay here again when visiting the island.

We just loved The Gale House! It was cozy, clean and comfortable. Jane was very responsive with any questions I had. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

We had an issue with the passcode and we eventually got a hold of someone and had no issues afterwards. All of the neighbors were nice and friendly.

The River House was exactly what my family and colleagues were looking for on Cobb Island. Jane is a stellar host—from our first communications, to adding dates, to precise instructions, and local recommendations. The River House and Cobb Island are unique with epic sunrises, rare seabirds and eagles, and fantastic local seafood and a new specialty market. We will definitely book again when visiting friends on the Potomac.
