The cottage was wonderful and very charming. We stayed for two nights as a getaway from the DC area. It was just the two of us, but the home would be comfortable for two couples or a family with kids. The setting on the Potomac is serene and so beautiful and the enclosed porch and the screened in pergola were great places to relax with sweeping views of the river and the Colonial Beach peninsula. We had an issue with wifi but the host responded right away and put me in direct touch with the ISP customer support who rebooted the system remotely and it worked great afterwards. The town of Colonial Beach seems to be on the rise and it was fun exploring.

This was a fantastic day! Please take the suggestions left in the book as they were all accurate and delicious. The view was incredible and the home was so comfortable.

Great views and the house is in a good location. Nicely appointed, open concept and clean. There were fresh flowers on the table and personal touches throughout the house that made it very welcoming. The screened in gazebo is a great place to hang out! The owner, Marilyn, was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely visit again!

Loved the location and the peaceful surroundings and views from the outside porch were incredible! Host was so friendly and everything was perfect about the space. Highly recommend!
