Alison’s place was a great base for my mum and I whilst visiting family in the area. We were very comfortable and couldn’t believe how spacious the flat was. Great kitchen facilities and very good water pressure in the shower! Many thanks.

A lovely place to stay in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Alison is an excellent host and the flat is extremely clean and well stocked of all the things you may need whilst on holiday. Alison was also very kind to leave a high chair, travel cot and baby toys for us - thank you!

Stayed at Alison’s beautiful cottage over new year. The house itself was very clean and had heaps of storage. The location was very quiet but easily accessible to the town centre. The accommodation had everything that you could possibly need. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Alison’s place again, or recommend it to others.

My husband Scott and I loved our stay at Alison's cottage in the Borders. We stayed over Christmas and our lovely cosy accommodation made our Christmas memorable. The cottage was very convenient for us as it was near our relatives so we were able to visit them easily, and relax when we returned! We found the cottage warm, comfortable, with nice hot water for the shower. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment and clean and tidy. Alison had added nice festive touches such as a Christmas tree and lights. We would be pleased to stay there again when visiting our relatives in the area. Julia
