We had a fantastic little last minute get away for the weekend. The host couldn’t do more for us 🥰 tour of the farm was lovely. Fresh eggs from the hens 🐔 We had lovely weather for it also. 😎 We will be back soon xx

We had a lovely stay- the property is clean and well equipped and it’s easy to access lots of areas along the Kent coast. Communication with the hosts was excellent and the fenced in yard is perfect for bringing a dog. Fizz and chocolates in the fridge also a great touch! Worth mentioning there is a wedding venue down the road (who hosted events on the weekend we stayed) although the music stopped by 23.30.

Gatehouse Lodge is a beautifully presented studio cabin, situated in a peaceful rural location. The lodge is clean, tidy and well equipped. Julian and his family are all very friendly, and Julian was always super responsive. I loved the tour around the farm and getting to have a cuddle with a baby lamb. Highly recommend

Lovely quiet location - perfect for a romantic weekend - easy drive to Canterbury - deal - white cliffs . The log burner was amazing and made the lodge so cozy. We were lucky enough to be taken around some of the farm to meet the animals including 2 day old lamb - added to that the owner also gave us some freshly laid eggs! Lovely gifts in the fridge for us - sparkling and chocolates 😊 Only a very re little niggle - the green light from on the fire detector was directly above there bed and found it distracting whilst try to get to sleep - however I fully appreciate there has to bee fire dectors especially in such an amazing oak log . Overall would give top marks and hopefully will return in October time.
