Lovely old cottage very well restored by the owner. Quiet and peaceful location but still easy to get to Norwich and the coast.

Tim and Janice were lovely hosts. It was wonderful to stay in their beautiful cottage which is in a great position to explore Suffolk (an amazing county)

We had a lovely stay in the Pleasure Grounds Cottage which we used as a base to explore Suffolk and Norfolk visiting Southwold, Gorleston, Framingham Castle and Norwich. Tim was waiting to greet us on arrival and show us around the delightful thatched cottage. The cottage was very peaceful with good amenities. Mobile reception in the cottage was quite poor. The Wi-Fi signal was good, except when it dropped out one evening. It was working again the following morning. Tim gave us several recommendations for eating in the surrounding area, including the Rumburgh Buck. It was three minutes walk away. We dined there twice, enjoying their good food and real ales, and played pool with some locals. Overall we had a great stay in Rumburgh. Thanks Tim

Tim en Janice waren erg vriendelijke en behulpzaam. We werden verwelkomd met heerlijke eitjes en groenten uit de tuin. De cottage was erg sfeervol ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie en grote slaapkamer, fijne douche. Alles was brandschoon. We hebben erg genoten van de tuin bij de cottage: ‘s morgens het ontbijt in de zon en ‘s avonds een glas wijn, wat wil je nog meer! Vanuit het huis hebben we mooie wandelingen langs de velden gemaakt. Het strand is niet ver weg: Southwold is een leuke badplaats met een prachtig zandstrand. Het eten in de pub in Rumburgh is een aanrader. We hebben hier heerlijke dagen gehad en raden iedereen aan om hier ook heen te komen!
