Andrea's place was magnificent! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings by the lagoon side of the Placencia, near the airport. Walking distance or a short drive to the beach and Mariposa Beach Resort. You can order online and pick up or stay at the restaurant by the beach. We brought our dog, as Andrea's place was dog friendly and the Mariposa Beach Resort also allows dogs as well. Bonus. Andrea's place had a great layout, with the nice balcony with a beautiful view where you can enjoy a meal or relax and read or surf the net. The internet was fast. The kitchen was well equipped. Only negative thing that happened, we lost power a few times, but I think in Belize that happens. There were some candles around, but did not want to use them, in case a fire broke out. Our phone light was fine. The water still ran while the power was on. Our dog loved the place. We would come back for sure. Thanks for the great stay, Andrea.

Sharene is a great host. She picked us up at the airport, took us on a tour of Placencia which included a stops to buy fresh veggies and groceries. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. She gave us recommendations on things to do and even took us to a waterfall including a picnic lunch!

Sharene was an awesome host and a fun person to hangout with. The condo was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. You’re a 10min walk to a resort where you can eat or use the beach. Sharene’s welcome book has lots of good information for excursions. Placencia Village is beautiful and full of different kinds of restaurants and nightlife. We did find that Belize is more expensive than we thought. The exchange rate is 2:1 USD. The restaurants, markets and bars just double the price in Belize currency so you are actually paying what you pay in the US. We do recommend renting a golf cart/ car due to taxi’s get expensive, $10USD per couple to one destination. We would stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay! I enjoyed the balcony overlooking the canal and the space has many amenities. I'm a fan of the host and want to be her forever bestie. She really helped me as a solo traveler feel ready to enjoy my time. I can't wait to come back. 💕

This place had everything we needed, from bathroom and towels to kitchen and air conditioning and fans and laundry (washer and dryer). We loved the spacious balcony where we could hang our scuba gear to dry. Sharene is very friendly and always responsive. The location is great, literally next to the airport and just a few minutes from the dive shop. We loved our stay!
