A lovely and peaceful stay. A perfect little cottage for a country get-away, with full kitchen facilities for cooking, nice walks (including just outside the door), and a hot tub with a view.

We had the best weekend away at this amazing getaway cottage! The hosts were lovely and the views were gorgeous from the Jacuzzi! It was very private and romantic. Very grateful for our stay and will definitely be back!!

The calf shed was perfect for what we wanted. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed during our 3 night stay. The Hot tub was great too. We were able to walk into Alston where there is a Co op and a few pubs and a Bistro. We had a lovely stay.

So pleased we found this little gem!The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us, spotlessly clean & had everything we needed! The bed was super comfy! The heating worked a treat & kept us toasty warm! We were looking for somewhere to chill for a couple of days & it was perfect! Never been anywhere with a shared hot tub but it was perfect as only shared between the 4 cottages & was kept clean etc. Absolutely stunning views & the night sky was beautiful!!!! You could pop your name on the list with a time or just jump in if no-one was in. The location was perfect. It was only a 25-40 minute walk into Alston either by the road or a more rural walk through Pennine way & there’s also loads of other walks nearby. We took a trip (30 minutes by car) to Cow Green Res & done the 40 minute walk to cauldron snout….definitely worth the trip!The town was nice, there’s a couple of pubs & places to eat. Hosts were lovely & check in was super easy! Will definitely be returning!! Thanks for a fab stay!
