Beth's house is very clean, beautifully designed and decorated, and had plenty of space for our group of 3 couples. The location and the amenities were ideal to create the most memorable vacation for us. Everyday we looked forward to returning HOME after a day of biking/hiking in beautiful ANP(20min). SO nice to have 3 full bathrooms, a breezeway with cubbies for shoes/jackets, a record player was a nice touch & everything ran by solar energy. We picked up lobster dinner from Gateway Lunt's (5min), baked Jordon Pond Popovers(Beth left us blueberry jam & maple syrup), made chicken wings in the air fryer, purchased treats and booze from Trenton Marketplace(7min), and most of all we loved foraging for clams and mussels from the beach in front of the house. We watched a baby deer and her mom swim across to Alley Island one morning. At night we sat around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows, singing the oldies, looking up at the stars, sipping whiskey and we all hoped to return someday.

Those views! While we'd planned for this to be an active family vacation to celebrate my 60th birthday with our children, their spouses and dogs, we honestly could have just stayed home and watched the changing sky, water levels and wildlife outside our windows from this beautiful home. It was such a peaceful and relaxing environment. Beth was super responsive throughout the whole process, from pre-booking inquiries right through supporting us through the hurricane that hit Bar Harbor during our stay! We chose to rent this home not only for the location but also for the host's commitment and efforts towards sustainability. We appreciated the solar power, the electric vehicle charger and backyard composting.

STAY HERE! As others have noted, the waterfront location is unique and beautiful, the land bridge is a one-of-a-kind experience, and the home is expansive, well designed, and well stocked. Beth was a very accommodating and responsive host. We had 6 adults, 3 young kids, and dogs and enough room to spread out. We were pleasantly surprised by the enclosed/fenced in dog area just off the breezeway, too. We encountered turkeys, a porcupine, clams, seagulls, and mussels during our stay and enjoyed the many amenities (upstairs play area, pack n play, corn hole, etc.). Excellent bakery, mini-Hannaford grocery store and a few lobster pounds within a short drive. It's an unforgettable spot perfect for making memories!

We stayed here once before in April 2021 and liked it so much we came back. Even better in August, much warmer and the scenery was just as nice. Will definitely consider her place again in the future.
