Sofanya’s place was so special. Loved the space and the close proximity to both Big Sur and Carmel and Monterey. Highly recommend to those who have stayed in a cabin in the woods before. Will book again

Sofanya was helpful & accommodating through our travels in Big Sur! Coming to her house in the evening was so beautiful & dreamy. The morning was extraordinary to wake up to such scenery. Sofanya is kind & caring towards her guests & us! I highly recommend visiting her locations & to relax & unwind at her lovely property! Not to mention that her attention to details is great with warm blankets, organic coffees & other goodies that make the trip extra comfortable

The place was small but had what you needed. Sofanya was really nice to send me some local events that was happening and was good at communicating over text. The place does smell like old wood and it gets quiet cold at night. There are space heaters but dress in layers. The water system is not biologically filtered so that felt unusual but she gave two large jugs of bottled water to drink. The space has kitchen tools, shower, towels. I didn't mind staying here but I found it inconvenient that it was 30 ish mins away from Carmel/ restaurants/ grocery. Overall, the host was nice and the place wasn't difficult to find. For the space size, it was a bit expensive but cheaper than other Airbnb in Carmel.

Sofanya is the sweetest host. All around wonderful person and great artist! It's a perfect artist retreat and great location for Big Sur and Carmel by the Sea.
