The house was in a fantastic location but is very old and limited. The water is sulfer water and smells incredibly bad. I was not aware of this when booking. The house had way too many personal effects and everything was cramped due to having too much stuff.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The cottage has so much lake charm with gorgeous views and many relaxing spots to enjoy the lake. The house was very clean, comfortable, and has everything you’ll need to enjoy your time on the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This house is an older house with a quaint feel and just what you would expect from a 1920s era cottage. The setting is beautiful as is the lake and we had a very enjoyable stay. As mentioned and some prior reviews, there were a couple bugs around which was no big deal to us, and the water has a distinct sulfur smell so definitely plan to bring bottled drinking water for your coffee. The house has virtually everything that you will need for a great stay. It is very well appointed with most things you will need for your stay. As they mentioned in the description, this is a lived in house so don’t expect tons of room for your belongings or food. If you stay in the heat of the summer I would highly recommend bringing a few fans and extension cords to pull in some of the cool air from the outside at night for comfortable sleep. Overall however we had a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this cottage and would stay there again in the future.
