Jim and Shannon were a pleasure to talk to. Very welcoming and responsive. The house is beautiful and clean, great views to the river. Would definitely recommend!

The room looked just like the pictures. The bed was beyond comfortable. The little living area was a nice bonus with a sofa and a table where my son and I could lay out a game and play. Having a little fridge there was helpful so that the snacks we brought could stay chilled until we left the next morning. We also went out on one of the canoes and had so much fun paddling around watching the birds and getting a little exercise. Drove on country roads to get there for a little bit, but all the instructions made it perfectly easy to find this lovely home. The hosts met me upon arrival, but it was certainly a private stay on the second floor. I rented two rooms so that my son had his own space with his own bathroom. Same for me. That flexibility is a huge bonus.

Shannon and Jim’s home was so nice, welcoming and beautiful. Shannon texted me with details on how to find the place. I felt at home. The place as so clean, I enjoyed the balcony off my room. It was amazing. Upon arriving I was greeted and showed my space, my bed had a personalized note and instructions. There was banana bread on the table for me, it was delicious. I was enjoying my peaceful time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This house was absolutely gorgeous! Jim and Shannon were so friendly and accommodating. The room was well appointed and very clean. The outdoor space was phenomenal. The views were priceless and taking out their kayaks provided such a unique experience on the York river! Plus the provide baked goods were a yummy bonus!
