This was the second time I've stayed at Marilyn's Motel, the first time alone in the smaller chalet, this time in the larger. Both are excellent, the larger chalet (No.2) has a sitting room and a little more space, so it was ideal for my husband and I, and would be fine for 2+ groups. Because the weather was quite chilly we really appreciated the effective heating, ensuring we remained warm despite the unexpected frost. A lovely place to stay - we will be back next year!

Marilyn's place is in a beautiful and peaceful location. We have really enjoyed our holiday there and would love to visit again in the future.

This is a wonderful, spacious place, full of tranquility and beauty. We slept so well, the views are wonderful and you will find everything you need here. I highly recommend coming here!

Returning guest, this place is a dream for local Buddhist / mediation / walking enthusiasts. Minutes from samye ling, beautiful scenery and walks. Marilyn was wonderful as always, responds so quickly to messages, also let me check out late afternoon (I didn’t even ask - she just offered) Will be back again in the summer - thank you so much x
