We stayed at Laura and Ronnie's place for 3 nights and it was just beautiful. The view of the lake and the surrounding area was second to none. Laura and Ronnie were both there to welcome us to the property and were on hand throughout our stay. It was really nice not having to worry about breakfast as eggs, bread, milk, butter and tea and coffee was all provided. Laura and Ronnie provided local recmendations for food, walks and other things to do in the area. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to family and friends. Thank you.

A beautiful place to stay. It was a lovely cosy place. We had a lovely trip thanks to recommendations and the helpful leaflets. We will miss the stunning views and watching the weather change over the lake and hills. Thank you for a great break.

Absolutely faultless experience! I was on the road when I realised I hadn’t confirmed (ie booked) anything for that night. Laura was so responsive that I had accommodation sorted within minutes of stopping at a services & messaging. Ronnie & Bertie were there to greet us as we arrived. Everything was explained and R&B left me marvelling at the stunning view of the Port of Menteith and the hills beyond from the private deck. The Old Barn has been expertly converted to a very high standard. It is charming, so comfortable and perfectly appointed without losing the comfy homey feel. And did I mention the view? I loved the extra touch of leaving fresh bread, butter, eggs & milk ready for breakfast the next day. Really thoughtful & and appreciated. If you get the opportunity to book any of Laura’s listed cottages, do it! You will not regret it.

Just back from a lovely 3 night stay in the Old Barn. Beautiful, peaceful location with a spectacular views - exactly like the pictures. Ronnie and Bertie (the dog) were welcome faces at the end of my journey - smiley, friendly and made me feel at home. Lots to do in the surrounding area and some great recommendations which we enjoyed. Can’t wait to go back.

We had a really lovely stay here. The views were stunning. We loved the changing view of the lake throughout the day, from misty mornings to sunny days, and evening sunsets. We spent a lot of our time sitting out and enjoying the view and the peace. Only downside was it the on/off noisy motor-sound at the bottom of the garden. The cottage was lovely. Very comfortable. The house surroundings also lovely- we saw deer and red squirrels on the wee lane to the house. And the swallows gathering for migration was also wonderful to see. Laura and Ronnie were very helpful and welcoming.
