We really enjoyed our stay here. Two bedrooms fit our family of three very well. Two bathrooms (with two showers) helped a lot. The apartment was exactly like the photos. It was very clean when we checked in. The only windows are in the front of the unit, but there is a skylight in one of the bedrooms that lets in a lot of light. The skylight is opaque and has a powered shade, so you can let in as much light as you want. The area is great. Lots of places to eat, get coffee, and groceries. The walk to the Seine is only 15-20 minutes. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Bare-bones commercially run airbnb. Looks much nicer/higher quality in photos than reality. Certainly over priced for what it is, but that's not wholly unexpected given the neighborhood and Paris prices generally. Two very unfortunate things to happen: 1. Despite many assurances in the welcome information they provide you about releasing door codes prior to arrival and to NOT contact them for codes, they did not in fact release those codes and we got stuck standing in the rain outside for ~30 minutes waiting to hear back with door codes. 2. Probably most concerning, after checking out they sent us a photo of ash on a table and claimed the apt smelled of smoking, and are trying to charge us a specialized cleaning fee. None of us smoke (at all). Not sure if it's a scam the cleaning service is running on the hosts, or a scam the hosts are running on us. But regardless the planted ash/photo is pretty blatant fraud, and has been a pain in the a** to deal with since leaving.

I hate to leave less than 5 stars as the owner was great and excellent communication. However many things were not ok. First the pictures don’t do a good job showing what your really renting. It seems like it’s an old office space maybe converted to a apartment. Says air conditioned but really it’s one small wall unit by the front door and the bedrooms are in the back. So not getting very cool in the sleeping areas, especially if you want any privacy with doors or even curtains closed. The place was infested with spiders, they seemed to come through the walls in cracks. It’s a old commercial space on ground level. The front doors are glass windows and a sheer thin Curtain for privacy. At night this doesn’t provide adequate privacy as 3 whole apartment buildings look directly down into the apartment. The space has a gross smell I can only relate to a rats nest. I’ve been in buildings infested with rats and rats urine etc and that’s the relatable smell. The apartment wasn’t stocked with any napkins or paper towels. Also there was no extra garbage bags. This could maybe have been resolved by messaging the host, but it didn’t seem worth the effort. The master bedroom rug was very gross and should be thrown out. Not the type of rug for that kind of space it’s not cleanable. The amount of dust in the air was pretty gross. We turned on a flash light in the dark and just saw glittered dust like I’ve never seen on that scale. The property management was very communicative and helpful, however these issues were not something they could just come fix. I really wouldn’t ever recommend this place sadly.

Excellent communication and great location. Please be advised there are no windows in either room (just the ones pictured which are in the living room). All in all, wonderful stay!
