This place is not for everyone. BUT it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I almost was going to book the basic cabin down by the river because pretty much my plan for the week was just to fish anyway. I ended up booking the grand view for the simplicity of having the gas stove. I was looking for a place to bring my dog and a fishing pole. Simply put. Turn everything off and just get away for the week. I lucked out because I was pretty much the only person there throughout the week. Which was perfect. I stayed Monday thru Saturday morning. And none of the other cabins or houses on the property were rented out until that Friday so I never saw anyone until that night. If being a little outdoorsy doesn’t bother you. The out house next to the cabin was well made and clean. Unfortunately I wasn’t there during the time they have the outdoor bathtub available. But the shower house with hot water was only a few minutes drive down. All in all. A very peaceful week to get away.

Amazing time with my 3 daughters! Dan and crew were extremely hospitable. The cabin and property were beautiful. Even had home cooked AMAZING breakfast made by the Dan and the crew. We ate with them and other guests, great time., we pitched in and helped clean up then went to the ridge top to enjoy the view of the river in our hammocks! Such a great time with my daughters!!

We booked the riverside cabin but got moved to the Greatview due to weather conditions. The view was as incredible as advertised, and we stayed toasty even when it dropped to 10° outside! Highly recommend for a little off-the-grid adventure.
