Pasamos unos días increíbles, los anfitriones fueron muy amables, a pesar de que estas compartiendo la casa con ellos es como si estuvieras solo por la privacidad que te dan. Fueron muy accesibles en todo momento y nos chinearon mucho. Gracias.

Hollie and Tom have a special place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We saw more wildlife than you typically would in a national park! They have created comfortable spaces for guests to enjoy, such as an outdoor hammock area under cover, the pool and rancho and the bedroom is huge to spread out in. Everything was fabulous. They offer an included breakfast which was well appreciated each morning and they offer an extra menu to order from for dinner or lunch smoothies and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. We ate there twice for dinner because the restaurants in the area; although are completely acceptable, we figured their cooking was just better. We left, feeling like we made new friends in Costa Rica. Inspiring experience, we highly recommend and hope to see them again one day!

Casa Zenn's tag line is escape and reconnect, which is completely spot on! Hollie and Tom are great communicators, from my initial enquiry to helping me organise buses at the end of my stay, they were warm, personable, professional and responsive. They took time to find out what I wanted to get out of the trip, and tailored an itinerary around my needs. I opted for a fully catered stay, enjoying a primarily plant based menu with a focus on sustainability. Their edible garden and grounds provide a wealth of fruit, veggies, herbs and spices. Hollie is a real artist in the kitchen, her and Tom have travelled extensively and this is evident in the beautiful dishes they create. Aubergine curry, home made hot sauce and the Thai papaya noodle salad were firm favourites of mine! I love to hike and explore nature. Their home is the perfect location for both. They are surrounded by jungle and are visited by Howler, Squirrel and White face monkeys, sloths and a variety of birds including beautiful toucans. Both Hollie and Tom are quick to point out different species and get out the telescope or binoculars to make sure you don't miss a brief or discrete visitor! Hollie planned guided hikes around the local countryside and beaches, and also arranged for a more adventurous 9 mile Jungle Hike in the Piedras Blancas National Park, where no roads reach, totally idyllic, Hollie arranged the return transfer by boat! Tom is a keen surfer and if this is your cup of tea there is also excellent surfing close to Casa Zenn and they are also able to help with recommendations for other trips around the peninsula. I wanted to take time out and Hollie and Tom offer a 'digital detox'. I opted to be without laptop or phone for 24 hours, but with so much to experience and be present to it was easy to extend this to 48 hours! Such a luxury to really switch off an immerse myself in the sounds and sights of paradise. The house is beautiful. Fully equipped with a large private guest room and bathroom, hot water, all the trappings of a modern home - I loved the complimentary Osa Natural toiletries too! The large terrace is the perfect space for yoga, quiet meditation, reading or undertaking arts and crafts. I so enjoyed cooling off with a swim or simply lounging by the pool with a delicious smoothie, made with fruits from the gardens. I cannot recommend this gem in the jungle enough. Well worth the journey further afield from traditional tourist spots. I will definitely be back! Thank you Hollie and Tom!

I told our host that I probably wouldn't have booked the place if I realized it didn't have A/C (I had not noticed it missing in amenities) but I was so glad we went. What an amazing place they have and they are extremely helpful and attentive. The room did have a ceiling fan and a standing floor fan that helped a lot but we were there at the hottest time of the year. Holly was quick to point out the sloths in the trees and we probably saw 30 or more capuchins in the trees around the property. The view of the gulf from the back yard was fantastic and we took lots and lots of pictures. Breakfast was great and we also had dinner with them twice and all the food was excellent. If I wasn't so sensitive to the high temps and humidity it would have been perfect. Would highly recommend. Would also highly recommend renting a 4X4 vehicle.

I had the most beautiful time with Hollie and Tom for two weeks. I came for one to begin with and after one day i asked if I could stay another week. The house is surrounded by the most magical views across the Peninsula from the ocean horizons to the left and mystical hills to the right, while Capuchin monkeys go about their day in the trees and birdsong sings through your day, the music of the jungle is abundant here. I cannot tell you how delicious their cooking is, they weave so much love, curiosity and joy into their food that feeds the body and the soul. Tom and Hollie made me feel so welcome in their space, they are caring and calm and made me feel relaxed in their energy. They helped me with so many logistical things, like covid tests and transport which supported me immensely at a point when I needed some timely rest and comfort after travelling. It was beautiful to get to know Hollie and Tom over the longer time I stayed with them in their home and thank you for embracing me with such kindness.
