Really fantastic family home, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Off street private parking was really convenient. Great location to walk into the city or drive into the Lakes. Will definitely stay here again.

Me and my partner stayed here for a long weekend away, this home is located in a peaceful area just what we needed, the house was fresh and clean and everything we needed was stayed in the guest pack. Kerry was super at making us feel at home and giving us extra time to pack on our last day we didn’t feel rushed at all or pressured to leave it was great❤️ Overall we would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away, we booked last minute and the lodge was still perfect, 5 stars overall thankyou for letting us stay!

Lovely place but it was very hard to know which lodge you were getting . The pictures are intermingled and it isn’t until you arrived that you know which house you were in. We arrived early from the airport and Kerry gave us an early check in which was great. (She did not charge for this). My parents arrived from Germany in the camper on Sunday and went to sleep in the second room and found period stains on the bedding so slept in the camper the rest of the week.( I checked myself and it was right) the listing says there is a dishwasher ( maybe In lodge 1 but not lodge 2). The property lists a hairdryer ( important when coming from the states as US hairdryers don’t work in the uk There was none so I bought one and left it there. Maybe a landline for people travelling outside Europe- we had no way to call a cab on the WiFi. All in all a lovely building but some things could be tweaked. I feel Like I will get a bad review for not stripping the room with dirty sheets
