We booked this house with the intent to be near Austin but further west to enhance eclipse viewing. It was perfect for the eclipse, but it was a bit far out for everything else we had on our agenda. Going into Austin took 45 minutes (if good traffic) each way. The grocery store is 9 minutes away. Alternatively, The Lake Austin Spa is 2 minutes away and we really enjoyed it one day! The Colorado River is also close if you are boating or kayaking (we did neither). They have all the gear to kayak if you have a vehicle to transport them to the boat launch. We were two adult couples so we each slept in our own cabin and had lots of privacy. Appliances worked well. They have a great fire pit outside, bring some wood to enjoy.

Loved this booking! Picked it for the perfect Easter getaway and meeting up with friends who also had young children. Loved that everything we needed for a long weekend was right at the house. Kids were easily entertained in the backyard with the playset and pool. While the adults got to relax. Would recommend to any family looking to relax in their own private oasis. ♥️♥️

Perfect get-a-way for a family or group. The two separated living quarters was ideal. The outdoor space met the needs of all ages, from the play equipment for the kids to the grill and fire pit for the adults., there is even a pool. All of which is shaded with large trees and plenty of outdoor seating.

Very unique Airbnb with a lot of space. The back yard was fantastic with a lot for the kids to do.
