Little Hayfield · 整套平房 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Rural Peak District retreat
Get away from it all in this rural self contained annex. Situated half way up lantern pike with an amazing view of kinder scout and the surrounding peak district. Offering direct access to miles of footpaths and Bridleways it is perfect for walking, cycling or for those looking for a relaxing break away. We are more than happy to pick you up from a local train or bus station (new mills or chinley etc). Access can be tricky in a car so public transport is preferred. The bedroom contains a king sized bed, drawers, a full length mirror and bedside tables with lights. A hairdryer is provided. All linen and two sets of towels are provided. The living room is open plan with a small kitchenette. There is a sofa, a 40" tv with freesat and a small multifuel stove which we can light for you before you arrive on request, it's perfect for cosy evenings in. There is a dining table with 2 chairs which could also be used as an office space. The bathroom has an enclosed shower and toilet with a sink - 'faith in nature' shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. There is a small kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, combination microwave (oven, grill and microwave) and a single induction hob. There's a fridge with a small internal freezer section and a selection of crockery and pots. Food shopping, chocolates, flowers, wine or any other request can be arranged - please get in touch to talk to us about what would make your stay special. Secure bike storage is available along with tools for minor repairs if required. There is plenty of outdoor furniture for guests use and you are welcome to bring your own bbq. There is a gate at the end of the drive which can be closed to create a large, secure garden area for dogs (depending how high they can jump!). The surrounding fields are available for dogs to play in, we will advise which ones the horses are not currently using.
We had a great few days away walking. The accommodation was exactly as described. There were some lovely touches on arrival. The area is stunning and it’s a great place to base yourself for walking in the peaks. Local pub was less than a ten minute walk and very welcoming. Would come back for another break
Enjoyed our peaceful weekend at Hanna's place, everything you could need and dog loved his stay too, getting cosy by the fire after a long day !
Me, my partner and our 2 dogs had a 2 night stay at Hanna’s place. The annex was so clean, tidy and provided you with everything you needed for your stay included a lovely box of chocolates when we walked in. The hot tub is lovely and relaxing for the day or night as it has lights and very easy to use (we was shown how to use on arrival aswell). Some lovely walks around with incredible views to wake up to. Hanna was super friendly, helpful and always on hand when we needed it, I’ve already sent this annex details to a few fellow doggy owners!!
loved staying here, cottage is bigger in person than the photos give Justice, the track to the cottage was a tad adventurous but we managed it fine in a Leon. views were incredible and the hosts just as good, only thing we found a bit of a shame was that the hottub wasn't very private or had lighting to use in the evening. The hosts were fab and never bothered us but we think maybe a little fence or trellis might make the tub a bit more cosy. all in all lovely cottage with a log fire , loved it would stay again 😁
Amazing few days for our first visit to the Peak District! This bungalow is so lovely, in a secluded location with an amazing hot tub. The local pub in a 5-10 min walk away and Hayfield town with more pubs/restaurant is 20-25 min walk away so that was perfect. Really nice touch being welcomed with a box of chocolates and some bit for breakfast. Would highly recommend this place!
We are located in the small hamlet of Little Hayfield, there is a local pub just down the road serving home cooked food and drinks. Hayfield village is about a 20 minute walk away where there is a local village shop, post office, butcher, and pharmacist. There are also a good variety of dog friendly pubs serving food, a chip shop and an Italian restaurant.
Contact details for local eateries and shops including walking directions are found in the welcome pack.
OS maps and other local maps are available and we are able to advise on routes if you don't know the area.
Walking is our preferred mode of transport locally! There are also good cycle paths. We have a selection of over 20 local walks printed out for you to take with you and explore - if you want to go further afield we also have plenty more to share which are within a short drive away.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road and Glossop and New Mills are the nearest towns. Manchester and Sheffield are also both within an hours drive (with no traffic).
Nearest airport is Manchester Airport - 22 km, Nearest railways are New Mills Central, New Mills High Peak - 5 km
