James and his team were responsive from the outset. We had an intinerary created at our request for a little hill country tour. We were met at the airport and dropped off too at the end of our tour for a very reasonable price. We also had the wonderful Ishara on-site who cooked beautiful meals for us. Amila was also available for any arrangements or travel we wanted to arrange too. It was honestly a magical trip and so much for this was related to the wonderful accommodation and James and his team’s fantastic and respectful attentiveness. We will be back!!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der tollen Villa. Super schönes Design, makellos sauber, toller, schattiger Pool, top gelegen für viele Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Uns hat der Beach Club Paradise Cove in Midigama super gut gefallen (eine tolle Empfehlung von James) ebenso wie bummeln in Galle Fort. Ishara ist sehr nett und bereitet ein tolles Frühstück, je nach Wunsch Western Style oder Sri Lankan Style. James ist super schnell bei Fragen und gibt tolle und sehr individuelle Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten und Restaurants. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn wir noch mal nach Sri Lanka reisen. 100% Empfehlung!

We left James' place this morning and the holiday blues have already started to kick in! I travelled with my husband, 2 children and nanny and we all had the most wonderful time. James was extremely accommodating to all our requests i.e. travel cots, high chairs and stocking the fridge with the food my fussy one year old eats before we arrived. The house is spotless, even better than the photos, a real haven of relaxation and only 5 minutes walk from the beach (they have a great tuktuk driver too in case you don't feel like walking). What truly made the trip stand out was the housekeeper Ishara. I cannot praise her enough for taking such good care of us all. Our whole family loved her, including the delicious meals she cooked for us 3 times a day, playing with our babies, and her genuine warmth and welcoming nature - she really made the trip for us and we are already planning our return! Thank you Ishara! We were genuinely so sad to say goodbye this morning!

I stayed here with my husband and two kids (6, 9). Enormous place (3 bedrooms each with a king bed), lovely pool, quiet neighbourhood away from the busy waterfront. We had a great time watching the monkeys and squirrels in the trees. James was extremely easy to deal with, responsive and helpful with all requests. Ishara cooked us dinner one night and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks James and Maria!

This place is amazing. Had the most wonderful weeks stay at James Villa. Was everything that was stated in the description of the place. Excellent pool area and short walk to a few great restaurants and bars. Ishara made the most wonderful breakfasts and the Sri Lankan dinner she made was lovely and so reasonably priced. James was super responsive in organizing transportation and restaurant reservations. The area is very peaceful and only a short Tuk Tuk ride from the busier Galle areas. We loved the beach area of Kabalana. Will definitely stay again next time we make a visit to Sri Lanka. Thanks again for the warm hospitality.
