Each year, my husband and I check off an epic cabin from our bucket list - it’s always one of our most memorable weekend getaways spent together ! This year did not disappoint . We did four local brewery stops ( thanks for the recommendations , Janice !) shopped, and our favorite … relaxed at cozy rock! We caught up on reading , did a puzzle, enjoyed an indoor and outdoor fire and the hot tub ! This place is a gem. What a neat town, too. Book this place … you won’t be disappointed :)

Cozy Rock is definitely a must! You can tell the hosts have put a lot of love into this place. Such a cozy, welcoming, amazing cabin. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub every evening, the fire pit outside and some s’mores. We woke up to a herd of deer right outside the door, amazing! The guest book has all the information you need to get to know Freeport and enjoy all it has to offer. Janice and Sean have done an amazing job. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but we will definitely be back.

Our stay here was amazing from start to finish. Janice was in touch well before our stay and leading up to it to answer any questions. She is so friendly and helpful! The cabin was exactly as pictured, absolutely spotless and had a thoughtful welcome package waiting. There is an extremely thorough binder at the cabin full of recommendations, instructions and answers to any possible questions. I’ve never seen such attention to detail and it absolutely makes Janice and Sean stand out as hosts. They truly want you to feel welcome, comfortable and get the full Maine and Freeport experience. Lastly, the cabin was just gorgeous. They really have thought of everything. All the furnishings, linens, appliances etc are high quality and it’s easy to feel right at home. Cozy Rock was clearly built and furnished very carefully and thoughtfully. We adored everything about it and will be looking forward to a return visit when we can! Thank you Janice and Sean!

Cozy Rock Cabin was an incredible getaway! Janice was an amazing host. If we could give this a 6-star rating we would! We definitely plan to go back in the future.
