We spent a few wonderful nights in The Tin Shed and we’ll definitely be back. The space is stunning and fits beautifully into the surrounding landscape. The blend of woodwork and metal give the place a rustic yet contemporary feel that made us feel right at home immediately. The wood burning stove was perfect for keeping us warm and cosy in the night and combined with the quiet surroundings, meant we had some of the best sleep in a long time. Bonus points as well for getting to share morning coffee with the chickens and pigs! Ross and Eleanor are wonderful hosts who were incredibly attentive and friendly and made our visit to Moray that bit more memorable. It was an absolute pleasure as well to receive such a warm welcome from Dot, she was very friendly with our rescue dog Lexi who can be a bit overwhelmed with new dogs. Wow, what an amazing stay! Ross and Eleanor have created such a brilliant space, true to its historic style this hut is nestled in the hill with everything you need under its roof for rest and relaxation. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature with walks a plenty and a great base for exploring whiskey trail, coastlines and all Moray has to offer. Our hosts were so friendly and super helpful with amazing tips for making the most out of our stay. Not to mention, fresh eggs and fireside treats was a lovely gesture. We 100% recommend this spot, you won’t regret this experience. Not forgetting their little dog dot, pigs and curious chickens! Thanks again, Ash, Kels and Coco the dog :)

The cabin was the most perfect stay for us. The hosts are very lovely and made our time in the area so comfortable. We wish we could have stayed for much longer as it was so peaceful and the facilities were great!

Home away from home! Just fantastic, I had a lovely weekend at the Tin Shed! Exactly what I needed! The area is very peaceful and quiet. The woodburner is just amazing and heats the place so quickly. And having the wee train station just a short walk away is just brilliant! My pup Whisky enjoyed his stay and meeting the lovely Dot! We will be coming back! :)

I had an absolutely amazing time. The cabin was warm (even in the cold!) and Ross was a lovely host. I felt really welcomed. The area is beautiful - I went to walk and I found so many different landscapes. The local area was great and Ross had lots of suggestions. It’s not far from the coast too. Really wonderful place. Also super dog friendly ! My dog had a great time too.
