非常非常棒的地方，是我住过的最舍不得离开的b&b，没有之一。房东夫妇非常友善贴心，为我们准备了水果，早餐，还烤了派和其它惊喜！屋子舒适宜人，又充满艺术气息。浴室和厕所的view也太棒了。周围环境宽阔美丽，绝对适合喜欢隐私的人。如果有机会，一定会再回去。 Very very nice place. One of the greatest b&bs I've ever lived in. Hugh and Elvira were very friendly and sweet，they prepared fruit, breakfast, pie and other surprises for us! The house is cozy and artistic. The view of bathroom and toilet is also great. The surroundings are spacious and beautiful, perfect for people who like privacy. If I have the chance, I will definitely go back！

Elvira & Hugh are kind and caring hosts. Outstanding is how Hugh will stay in touch with guests via messaging they provide through a surprisingly reliable fibre optics wifi access considering their rural accommodations are off grid. If staying at the Avocado Tree House, keep in mind there is only a bar size fridge and no convection oven besides a propane top burner, toaster, and microwave. Expect humid stays as you are on the wet side of Big Island.

This was my best stay anywhere. Highest recommendation! The tree house was beautiful and exactly as described. Elvie and Hugh were lovely, gracious hosts. I loved chatting when they stopped by. Close to Pahoa- easy to everywhere on the island- there are no long really drives on the island. You will want a car to get around. The big island has a lot to offer- I will definitely go back again- and stay here. Volcanoes, Mauna Kea, Whale watching, Pele’s Kitchen, Tin Shack Bakery and Kaleo’s were my staples in Pahoa. I liked the Hidden Nene in Hilo for a drink. And Uncle Robert’s not to far from the Tree House is a must on a Wednesday evening. Elvie dropped off some of her fabulous smoothies, cobbler and banana bread during my long stay. I saved the banana bread for my flight back. Everyone was jealous. Thanks for making me feel welcome & the wonderful memories Elvie & Hugh!

We already miss the Avocado Treehouse. We felt so comfortable there. The location in the middle of the countryside and the house itself, with all the well thought out details, is really fantastic. We loved watching the gold dust geckos while we had breakfast. Elvira and Hugh are great hosts who often surprised us with fresh fruit, incredibly delicious cakes, smoothies or other delicacies. So so delicious. We had a great time and can definetely recommend this accommodation.

Phenomenal rental experience. We loved the beautiful and unique tree house, how lush the land was, and especially— how kind our hosts were. Hugh and Elvira are great people. This place in Pahoa is the dreamiest location to relax on the island after many fun adventures. Everything was very clean, comfortable, with fast internet, hot water, and awesome art. Our warm gratitude to the hosts!
