We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, and was perfect for a group of 4 adults, 3 children, and our dog. It was exceptionally clean, and there were lovely touches like the basket of goodies on our arrival, a toy for our dog, and towels for the hot tub. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District. We enjoyed fish and chips from the van which stops right outside the house on a Friday evening. Would highly recommend.

Great place, fantastic location and immaculate. Absolutely loved the hot tub with the smell of burning wood, it does get extremely hot though so be careful with the logs! We can’t think of a bad thing to say about it. Highly recommend.

What a brilliant stay at Carleton house! The house itself was huge, with loads of space for all 8 of us and was spotless. The hot tub and garden were great for the kids to play in. The location was perfect, easy to get to but loads of things to do nearby. We had chippy from the van next to the house one night and great visits to Lowther hall, aira force waterfall and rheged visitors centre. Would definitely recommend.
