Personally I found the accommodation side of it to be nice and fit for purpose. The only issue I had was with the food and beverage side… the fact that is was not readily available on site, the bar was not stocked, quality of the breakfast was poor. I think this place should be ran as a bed and breakfast… that way the owners can put effort and produce better quality food in the mornings only, that way people cater for themselves at other times in the day. Also minor works are needed in the rooms to make them more presentable, light fixtures, paint jobs on the walls etc… The staff were really helpful, especially Janet and Angela. The lady that cooks the food was lovely when she was not distracted by her phone. Overall it was a great stay, if these little things were fixed, I’d certainly come back again.
This is a great place to stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. I would encourage anyone to give them a try.
