Visit Scarborough with its Sea life centre, open air theatre, Peasolm Park with oriental gardens and paddle boats, and Alpamare Water Park and Spa. For nature lovers you have Bempton Cliffs RSPB bird centre, with nesting puffins and gannets. Flamborough Head is beautiful with dramatic white cliffs, seals and an iconic lighthouse. The stately homes of Sewerby Hall or Castle Howard are ideal for a day out, or you can explore the nearby North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The nearby village of Thornton Le Dale is a great spot to start your national park adventure, where you can enjoy an ice cream as you take in the scenery venturing out on one of the many walking trails onto the moors.
