Disgusting. The house was swarming with flies and had a general bad smell, it seemed it hadn't been cleaned since the previous guests. The kitchen was filthy, old chips in the drawer, remnants of food on the crockery/cutlery, crumbs all over, next to no utensils. We wouldn't have dreamed of cooking in there and had to wash everything before we used it. The toaster didnt work & the kettle was filthy. The mats and rugs were dirty and stained, muddy footprints all over. The 'hot' tub was cold, half empty and absolutely filthy, smelled dirty, clearly hadn't been treated. The lid was split in two & covered in mud, as was the whole rear yard. Garden furniture was mouldy & strewn all over the place. The host said to contact them via message/WApp yet the number was not using WApp and calls not answered. They replied 6 hours later and sent someone to half clean the hot tub (still unusable, dirty, half empty) and said he would follow up in the morning. This never happened.

A gorgeous location- right on the cliff edge on a private road overlooking the sea and Bay. Perfect for people who love the beach and want easy access. Cosy little house with plenty of space. Phil was super helpful when we needed some extra bits. Thanks!

The house was easy to find and a hill top location overlooking sea. House looking a bit dated and expected great levels of crockery etc for size. No toaster or coffee maker.

Surfers cottage was in a beautiful location, lots of walking routes and perfect for access to the beach. Great location for traveling in to Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey. The house was well equipped with everything you could need for your stay and the hot tub was a great addition. The hosts were fantastic at providing information about our stay and things to do in the area. The only let down for us was the cleanliness of the kitchen cookware, we had to wash them before we could use them as they were in the cupboards dirty. Dirty cleaning clothes left in the main bathroom and the outside bathroom floor / mat were soaking wet through. The house seems to still be being renovated but the work done so far has been done really well. Thank you for a lovely stay in a beautiful location.

The property has beautiful surroundings and is in a very quiet position. It is Very close to Cayton beach which has plenty of water activities to keep you entertained. This was a last minute break for us, which ticked all the boxes we required as a family of 5. The hot tub was an added bonus for our few days we were away.
