The stay absolutely brilliant. The only downside was the jacuzzi which was not working at the time but other than that it was a lovely stay. we really enjoyed the drive to the property too.

I stayed with 11 of my friends for my birthday for the weekend. The cottage was perfect size, really big and spacious for a big group, we all loved it here. I would definitely be wanting to come here again

The cottage was really comfortable, which was booked for a time out with family friends. The rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped, including a large dining table, which easily accommodated everyone. There were plenty of board games to keep the children busy. The host responded to queries promptly. The only recommendation would be to have booster deceives for the WiFi around the house, as signals were not strong enough throughout. Overall it was a really pleasant and nice experience.

The area was beautiful and its very peaceful around the cottage. We had plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 children inside the house. We particularly liked walking down to the local pub for a meal (about 30min walk with kids!) and the cottage itself was great value. The written directions to find the place were really helpful, even in the dark! I wouldnt quite give 5 stars for some small reasons... it was clean and tidy but not spotless. Our room (with balcony) had really low power in the shower so we used the one in the downstairs loo. There were only 4 bowls in the whole kitchen, and no store cupboard ingredients (a few tea bags and some sugar wouldnt have gone amiss!) For info: the £100 safety deposit is requested separately from the Airbnb payment, but the owner was prompt at returning. We had contemplated bringing our dog, but the garden area wouldnt be secure for a pup like ours who likes to explore! Overall a relaxing stay in lovely surroundings.

Foldgate was immaculate when we arrived, the pictures looked exactly like the farmhouse if not doing it a little injustice as the farmhouse was really spacious for our group of 11. The surrounding area was beautiful and if we had stayed longer, there was lots to do within a 30 minute drive. The host was really helpful and responded quickly, and the farmhouse was easy to find on maps. The only downside was we were dealing with Cottages,Com who didn’t seem to know if the property had a hot tub or not as I spoke to 2 people from the company who gave me conflicting information. I spoke directly with the owner who confirmed it did have a hot tub but was going through maintenance currently. Some more information from Cottages,Com was needed.
