I spent a fantastic week at The Blue Door. The house is spotlessly clean and has more amenities than I expected: well-stocked kitchen with lovely goodies, a garden in bloom with comfy seating and birds to watch. It felt like home with a comfortable bed, good lighting everywhere, and lots of places to put my stuff. Clear instructions for the household, and a great little washer/dryer. It’s a few minutes walk to all Kirkcudbright has to offer. I would absolutely stay here again, and would highly recommend it!

Both the property and the host were incredible, literally cannot rave about it enough! They went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was special, and it was! Beautiful property, our kids (7 & 10) absolutely loved it, we had walks down to the harbour every night to see the tide levels. Thank you so much for our little home away from home, can't wait to visit again!

Fabulous place to stay . Very clean , comfortable and in a great location. Host excellent , communicative and very welcoming. Lovely private sunny back garden. The property and location are fabulous for those with dogs too. There are great beaches and walks nearby. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will certainly be back. Recommend very highly .

Great spot, would highly recommend. everything thought of in the house to make it a great home from home down to little touches like dog bowls and treats (both human and dog). Kirkcudbright was also great as a base to explore the local area with some lovely restaurants, pubs and shops. Definitely recommend catching the fish van opposite the co-op on Thursday and Friday if you're into your seafood. Thank you for a great stay

The flat was well-located with plenty of nearby shops and easy, free parking. The flat is compact but well laid-out and equipped. Good WiFi was useful. Strongly recommended.
