We had a lovely stay at Kristel's. The location was beautiful, with lots of walking trails nearby and close to Hudson. The little town of Athens was also really cute. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen although unfortunately the dishwasher had a leak on the second day so we were unable to use it for the remainder of our time. The host was very responsive about the dishwasher, but due to the holiday weekend we couldn't get a plumber in. My only other comment would be that there wasn't great communal seating for our group of 6 in the living room area - would have been nice to have a larger comfy seating area that worked for 6 people. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Is probably fantastic in the summer when you can take advantage of the lake!

The cottage was lovely nestled in the charming community of Sleepy Hollow. Great wooded walks, full of wildlife and we had a great stay with our dogs over the Christmas period visiting family. Can’t wait to return. James and Diane Bent from Florida

This was my family’s second stay at Casa Toro and we loved it again. Easy 20 min drive to Hudson for shopping and restaurants and the sleep hollow lake community is very charming to walk around. We spent most time loafing on the couch and watching tv and movies. House has everything we needed for bringing in thanksgiving catered by talbot and arding. I appreciate attention to details like labeling all the light switches, many blankets, great bathroom amenities and helpful guidebook. This is a great place to stay if you need 3 full bedrooms. The lofted space is open, but does have a full bathroom and is comfortable. We always bring our own Apple TV and a pro tip is using the AirPods with Apple TV if anyone upstairs is sleeping.

Kristel and Jojo are wonderful hosts and their house is beautiful! We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away and spent time walking through the neighborhood, cooking, and doing puzzles. Jojo was especially helpful responding to messages and helping us feel welcomed and at home. I can’t recommend the house enough!

Kristel and Joannitte's place is amazing! The house has everything you may need and more: well stocked kitchen, puzzles/game boards, yoga mats, soccer balls, etc. It's super spacious inside and out, and the enclosed porch was such a nice touch and convenient with the dogs. It's about 15 minutes away from the town of Catskill and 20ish from Hudson, both very cute towns! We hope to be back very soon!
