This is a beautiful cottage. Very peaceful and quiet. Me and my friends went up for a golf weekend. Peter was a great host and very communicative. Everything was as described and then some. Would love to return!

we revisited Riverstone after 5 years, because of how amazing our experience was the first time. To our pleasant surprise, the cottage was even more comfortable, better equipped, and gorgeously designed than the first time. We had an amazing time in our mini getaway from the city, in this spacious, clean, beautiful, and quiet cottage, that is less than a 2 hour drive from Toronto. We cannot wait to plan our next trip to the Riverstone as everything is literally 12/10 thank to Peter and his partner.

We were two families (9 people) getting together for a few days after Christmas. Peter’s house is huge and easily accommodated all of us. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the surroundings are lovely - very peaceful and just a few steps down to the lake. Unfortunately the weather was not quite cold enough for snow, and we had hoped to be able to walk across the frozen lake but it wasn’t safe to do so. We did go for a nice hike through the woods at Big Chute trail, and the braver members of our party even went for a dip at Tea Lake! Other outings involved driving 40 minutes to visit Midland and Orillia (which has a fabulous recreation centre). We would definitely recommend this place, and would return for a summer visit for sure! Thanks for everything.
