This country cottage was perfect for our Memorial Day getaway with our small family. The hosts were wonderful in every way, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, and then some. The homemade biscuits were delicious, and our granddaughters loved the baby goats. The place is so charming, and the countryside is beautiful. Also, it is very clean, well equipped, and economical. We were so very impressed and pleased with this cute cabin!

The whole family had a great experience! Wonderful hosts and just far enough to be off the beaten path, which is what we were looking for. Mark was very responsive whenever we needed anything and his wife gave us a tour of the property goats, chickens and all. They even had some new chickens they just took in! A few of them are free roaming so you'll see them out and about. Also, we were traveling with our two teenage boys and there just happens to be a disc golf course about 2 mins away (we did the mini-course and it was a blast). Plus there is a paint ball spot about 5 mins away and the boys really enjoyed that experience too. A little something to do nearby and then back to the Farmhouse to enjoy the countryside.

The house was sparkling clean! It seemed like everything was new but the antique decor! Beautiful and peaceful property. Very relaxing porch!

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful location so close to the city, but a universe away. My kiddos loved being able to feed the chickens and the goats! The house was warm and cozy when it suddenly got cold. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was right there. We felt so welcome at the home and we loved having a little fire to cook hot dogs and s'mores over. It was a welcome change from being in a big city where the kids don't really get to interact with nature and see the stars at night. We all hope to be back soon!
