Perfect for large family reunion. Beautiful setting; lovely spaces for eating inside and outside, loads of supplies for making meals and beautiful sets of dishes. Having 2 dishwashers a real plus for large groups. Helpful and responsive manager.

My family rented the entire inn for a week. The location is incredible and we enjoyed spending time in the backyard. The inn was great and worked well for our family. It’s not immaculately clean, but we put some elbow grease into cleaning it the first day and it was fine.

An early 19th century in full of interesting treasures. We had a great time on the peninsula and happy to have chosen the Paquachuck Inn.

This was a special place. Our group came together for this short retreat together and Paquachuck was perfect. It is beautiful. The view is beautiful and the property is very nice. It is a 200 year old building so expect that it is old, but we just had a wonderful visit! We highly recommend this great inn.

We decided to rent out the entire inn to celebrate my 30th birthday. My boyfriend had been in contact with the innkeeper, Brenda, for months before our arrival. Brenda was aware that we would be celebrating a birthday, that we would have a live band, and we gave her all of the names of our guests. When we arrived at the inn, we were oddly greeted by a man, and somewhat oddly waved to by a woman who did not introduce herself. We did not get a thorough walkthrough from the Brenda, but a short and undetailed "tour" of the bedrooms. Nobody explained to us how things worked, what we could and could not use (until our second morning when there was a note in the kitchen saying what drawers were off limits), where to find things, or any sort of welcome to the house. When we had put our stuff away and settled, we gathered in the kitchen to start to prepare dinner. The kitchen sink was filled with filthy dishes, including a crock pot that took 30 minutes to hand wash because it must have been sitting there with the food in it for days. BOTH dishwashers were filled with dishes, and we had to guess where to put them (because we weren't told where anything was supposed to go). The fridge had old smelly food in it, and reeked of rotten fish. We were also told that the it was a semi-commercial kitchen, however nobody could walk from one end to the other without banging their heads on the pots and pans hanging above, or squeezing through the small space. Many of the rooms (bedrooms and a bathroom) did not have working lights. Millipedes were found in one of the guest's beds. Sheets smelled dirty and musty. Before we left, we thoroughly cleaned the house to what I believe was cleaner than how we had found it. The owner, Brenda, pretended like she had no idea we were celebrating a birthday with a band, or that we were having over 16 people. She told us that she was going to fine us, but she had already agreed to all of this. She also had a breakdown and started screaming and throwing and kicking things when she saw that we had moved a couch (that we were in the process of moving back) to give the band a place to play. On the last day, we decided to look on tripadvisor for other reviews, and boy do we wish we had read them before. Most reviews said that Brenda was crazy, rude, and to stay away from the Inn. The Paquachuck Inn was a beautiful, rustic, historical place to stay, but I would not recommend it to anyone.
