overall OK stay. nice little cottage in peaceful location. the place is dated and hot tub although is a nice feature has seen better days. stairs aren't safe with bollards being unsecured. cleanliness isn't up to standard with someone's dirty clothes left under the sofa.

Pros: Beautiful location, easy check in, nice and quiet surroundings, a hot tub, close to lots of this to do and right by a very picturesque canal! The inside of the house is nice and spacious and has a washing machine, and there is parking right outside. Cons: We did not receive enough towels (2 towels for 4 guests) and when queried, we were told the cleaner would drop over the missing towels but this never happened; there is no hot water except for the shower so we were not able to run a bath for the kids and had to use the kettle to wash up; there are only 2 bowls and 3 plates in the whole house, which again was tricky with 4 people staying. Bottom line: it's a lovely place to stay and the hot tub is a great perk, but the interior of the house is a bit basic and lacked some necessities in our case.

This little hideaway was a perfect peaceful retreat after a busy week so juts what we needed. It's a wonderful little cabin with everything we needed.
