We loved our stay! Rustic setting on a beautiful beach. Very fancy Glamping! Rural environment. Having a car helps, or making a stop at a store before arrival. Be prepared that you are entering a natural paradise with just a free restaurants and no stores in walking distance. The surf was a minute walk from our front door. A nice pool for cooling off in the afternoon. Great patio with rocking chairs. A mosquito net, a strong fan, a private bathroom. The area is pristine! Beautiful coast line. Kind staff.

Roberto was a very responsive host. He helped me to organise a car hire before we arrived and answered any questions quickly whilst we were there. The cabin was lovely, just as shown in the photos and with a great outdoor bathroom. The pool was also a nice addition. Location is idyllic with a beautiful beach right on the doorstep and the bar / restaurant has nice food and a friendly atmosphere. The young staff (particularly Cindy) were all fantastic and very patient with our lack of Spanish! The only negative to note is that you are pretty isolated, down a 2km uneven track. So a vehicle is a must if you would like to eat at other places or visit the nearby beaches or surf spots. We did notice lots of people on scooters which I’m sure would be easy enough to organise too. All in all we had a fantastic week and would definitely stay again.. with a 4x4 next time!

Un conseil n’allez pas là-bas! La grande serveuse était nulle, elle ne nous a pas dit l’heure du petit déjeuner, qui n’est pas inclus sauf si vous réservez par Booking (moins cher d’ailleurs!) 6.50$ sinon! Nous n’avons faits que 2 jours, pas de wifi du tout! Il faut demander 2 fois pour avoir de l’eau potable. Vous attendez 1/2 heure pour 2 malheureux « burritos ». Les prix dans le restaurant sont très cher et la nourriture n’est pas très bonne. Difficile d’arriver et partir si vous n’avez de pas voiture. Franklin qui savait quel jour nous partions, ne nous a pas proposé de nous amener à Chinandega alors qu’il s’y rendait le jour où nous partions! Super sympa! Nous avons dû payer 25$ de taxi! En bus, bonne chance! C’est comme s’il ne faisait rien pour vous aider. Par contre pour prendre votre argent ce sont les premiers! Heureusement qu’il y avait un restaurant pas loin avec de la meilleure nourriture mais cher aussi! Je ne recommande pas et je ne retournerai jamais là-bas!

We have enjoyed our stay here very much. The cottages are cozy and clean. Also, there are covered loungers on the beach that you are allowed to use. The entire facility is very well maintained and nicely done, all the staff are super friendly! The communication worked well and Roberto was very accessible. The beach and also the neighboring bays are very nice. We have extended our stay because we liked it so much. Thank you!!!

Perfect location, steps away from a lovely surfing spot and beach. The cabin was basic but as pictured and described. If you have no transport you are restricted to only eating at Tapas & Surf (or one other place a few doors down). Frustratingly, there was always a large amount of items from the menu that were not available throughout the duration of our stay. It was extremely difficult to communicate with the staff as we only speak English and they only spoke Spanish. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing stay but would advise getting transport!
