Javier was extremely helpful and was quick to help us when we were in a bind, the place does need maintenance but that is life on the beach.

La maison est fatiguée et mériterait une bonne rénovation, mais l’emplacement est incroyable et fait oublier les petites carences du logement. Définitivement un excellent rapport qualité prix pour passer du temps dans un endroit de rêve.

The positive: Javier was very responsive, apologetic & gave us a discount & refund. He said he did not know things were in such bad shape because he has not been there for a long time & pays for maintenance. The negative: This place is falling apart...it needs a lot of work. The bathroom sink is falling off the wall and the pipes are broken, leaking onto the ground. Paint peeling off & big cracks in the walls, mold etc Window ledges, walls, fans were dirty The worst - there is a bat infestation in the attic. The smell in the house is terrible from bat guano. We had to leave all doors open and it did not even air it out enough. We had to leave the next day and even staying there one night was a stretch. The air quality is not safe to be in. The smell has permeated everything..even the blankets and beds. Its in a beautiful area on the beach...you need a car to access. The yard is well maintained, nice hammocks. If the house gets a big fix up, it will be a great place
