Not quite as advertised. The property was 10 mins from the beach but a much farther walk down to the Boom (approx another 15 mins). The actual name of the property is “The Captains Inn” if you wish to look it up elsewhere. The shower in the room didn’t work properly and there was no soap. The daughter of the host did rectify this and also helped with obtaining a surfboard rental ($20 USD). Unfortunately the host was not present at all and we received no check in information (location of property, check-in time etc..). There was no orientation once on property, his daughter just opened our room door and let us in. During our first night, there was loud music blaring until well past 3am, which we messaged about but the host did not acknowledge until the morning. We ultimately ended up leaving immediately the following morning due to our experience.

Interesting place, apparently managed by a couple of tween boys who were the only people associated with the property the whole time that I was there. Great price for a private room with air conditioning so close to a surf beach.

Wow, what a true gem for traveling surfers or anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Aposentillo. When I reached out ahead my my trip, German was able to assist with transportation from the airport and even had a local guide that showed us all of the best spots around town. His spot is a quick walk down to one of the best surf spots in the area and only a short moto ride from several other high quality breaks. You want a boat trip for the day? German can easily arrange that for a very reasonable price, we even caught a fish and he prepared phenomenal ceviche. His wife runs one of the best restaurants in town a short walk away and we were constantly impressed with the quality of food available. His pool was a perfect place to cool off in the afternoon and the hammocks/common area were great for a lil siesta. Felt very safe and slept well with a strong A/C unit. My favorite spot I’ve been in Central America and will continue to return, THANK YOU German!!!

the place is a little bit difficult to find but the people around are very helpful. it is very quiet and there are not a lot of tourists. we would recommend this place or aposentillo for experienced surfers with their own boards. to visit the places arround aposentillo you need a car/motorcycle or you have to walk long distances to get to the beach. germans place is a 10 minute walk away from the "boom" wave. it also has a pool on the property, where you can have a nice bath after surfing. if you have any problems just contact german and he is helping you as much as he can. it's good to speak spanish though ;).
