Prime location in the heart of Wroxham, "Capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park". Set right on the bank of the River Bure with fishing right outside the door and your own private mooring, you have views of the iconic Wroxham Bridge and along the river. Just a 5-10 minute walk into town with all amenities of shops, riverside restaurants and pubs and even a large supermarket, ideal for self-catering. Hire a day-boat or go on a sightseeing excursion, or hire canoe or go paddle boarding. Albion Cottage is a 2-bedroom (twin and double), with Freeview TV / DVD in both. The beds in the twin room are full size width for both adults and children. All rooms have wall-mounted electrically heated thermostatically controlled heating. The shower room consists of a shower cubicle and pedestal basin, with mirror and light and a close coupled w.c. heated towel rail. Downstairs the open plan kitchen / diner/ living room comprises a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel double oven / grill, ceramic glass hob, microwave oven, and all utensils for self-catering, breakfast table and diner for 4. Living room with 2x sofas, leather armchair, 32" TV / DVD , real fire effect fan heater, and electric wall-mounted electric radiator. The whole cottage is double glazed and French doors open onto the private raised terrace.

Thanks for a lovely stay. It’s a great location and a great bolthole from which to explore the Broads.
David’s house was ideal for the two of us , it’s small but clean and comfortable. We did find the shower cubicle quite narrow however . Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to use the outside space as it rained so much ! Such a pity as it’s in a great location ,plenty of boats and bird life to watch. The welcome pack was a nice touch , thank you .
The most disappointing thing was the size of the shower. It is not suitable for a normal sized adult. When we contacted the host he was very unhelpful and suggested we should shower with the doors open. We had to contact the Airbnb Support Centre for assistance. We stayed for 2 nights and got a refund for the remainder of our holiday. Lovely location next to the river. Views from the lounge and garden were beautiful. The check in process and instructions were easy to follow. Walkable distance to restaurants and shops.
This was my first visit to the Norfolk Broads. Out of season, so the weather was patchy, but the setting was peaceful and lovely, making it such a relaxed stay. Highlights include walking the Bure valley path and taking the stream train back, and taking a river boat guided trip through the broads. The cottage is cosy, spotless and well equipped for self catering. Throughout the day we were greeted by geese, ducks and herons on the patio. A real treat.

Sightseeing ferry trips, boat hire, and angling shops are within walking distance
Once here you don't need a car. Everything you want is within a 5-10 minute stroll. The town centre is just a 5 minute drive with ample free parking and regular bus service to the county city of Norwich and most seaside towns. Wroxham has a mainline train station
