History lovers will enjoy the numerous local heritage properties in the area, including Beatrix Potter’s home at Far Sawrey only 6 miles or Wordsworth’s School in Hawkshead where you can see his graffiti! (8 miles). Upon arrival, you will find ample off-road parking for two cars. Once inside this ground floor property you will find a charming sitting room where a delightful wood-burning stove, along with ample seating and a TV, make for cosy evenings in. Just beyond the lounge is the kitchen/diner, a perfect space for enjoying your morning breakfast, surrounded by stylish, shaker-style fittings, whilst admiring the view over the extensive gardens toward the lake and fells beyond - watch out for the deer, pheasants and rabbits who frequently stroll across.
