Wonderful proximity to the gorgeous Achmelvich beach which has pristine silver sand and is as clear as can be. The main living space is ideal for a family to enjoy meals and board games on damper days. There are lovely walks from the doorstep and we saw seals in the nearby cove. You can even walk over to the campsite and get fishnchips. Perfect place to chill and recharge.

Great space inside the house- especially the open plan kitchen/sitting room with stove. The place feels very light -even on a very drich day. Close to the beach. We went out on our kayaks every day and went swimming too. Loved the week and would like to come back

This was our second time to stay at Alistair’s place in Achmelvich and once again it was absolutely fantastic. I imagine we’ll be back again. It worked out perfectly for showing our visiting American family the joys of the Highlands. It is just a short walk to the beach - perfect for morning, daytime and evening walks. There are lovely walks almost out the front door and many, many more a short drive around Assynt. And the house provides a welcome retreat and space should the weather not be entirely cooperative. We’d highly recommend staying here!
