Kathryn is a lovely and friendly host who got the apartment ready for us on super short notice!, beautiful cottage the full house to yourself and lovely cosy interiors, had a lovely stay couldn’t recommend more! Really beautiful surroundings 💕

Kathryn’s Place was a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was immaculately presented. It was so comfortable and everything was spotless clean. The shower was powerful and the kitchen had everything you needed. All of the furnishings were of high quality and the bed was super comfortable with soft and comfy bed linen. Kathyrn and her partner were really friendly. It was great for our dog too having a lovely garden. The village has a good pub and a lovely cafe which both served great food. There were plenty of places to visit and we enjoyed visiting the local area. We would highly recommend the cottage for couples looking to relax and enjoy some quiet surroundings.

Hillside cottage is stunning, Kathryn has created a cosy little home away from home with beautiful thoughtful little gestures ( we loved the welcome cake!) a cosy bed for my dog and some treats and i personally loved the mindfulness colouring book! The house has everything you need, great shower, comfy bed, cosy sofa for relaxing after spending the day exploring the gorgeous surroundings. Also want to give the garden a mention as its just magical and my dog loved exploring it. Hillside is a perfect location for exploring North Yorks, such a stunning place for walking, visiting historical sites, great restaurants and cafes nearby. We had a wonderful weekend. Kathryn is a wonderful host, very responsive, helpful suggestions but also gave us our privacy. Perfect! Wish we could’ve stayed longer
