We stayed for our first holiday as a family with our 11 month old and we absolutely loved it. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was perfectly situated to explore the area. Our hosts were wonderful, the information pack in the cottage told us everything we needed. The garden was lovely to sit in in the afternoons. We had a lovely time.

Beacon Cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It has a well equipped kitchen and really comfortable furniture. It is peaceful, quiet and very private. We were met by Val soon after we arrived to check that everything was OK for us. It was a great place to stay and ideally located to visit the North Yorkshire Moors and other local attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay again in the future.

Beacon Cottage was an excellent place to stay to explore a part of Yorkshire we didn’t know. The accommodation was well designed and well furnished. Plenty of space all round. Well placed for Helmsley, North York Moors Railway and several other sites. The fab views referred to in the details were there but you had to go outside and peer over a wall to see them.
