The Nest is a beautiful place with perfect decor. We spent 2 nights for our anniversary, it was wonderful! Everything we needed and special extra touches were gratefully received (the gin was amazing!!) The hot tub was perfect for relaxing and great instructions given on arrival on how to use. Julie, Steve and Gillie are so lovely and brilliant hosts. Thank you
I can honestly say I think this is the best Air bnb I have ever stayed at. Everything & I mean EVERYTHING has been thought of to make your stay a relaxing, pleasurable experience. There are just so many little touches that it’s impossible to list. Can’t fault communication from the friendly hosts, hot tub, bath and bed are amazing, all around grade A.
Me and my partner stayed 3 nights at the nest and it was one of the most relaxing stays we have both experienced! Julie and Steve are more than friendly hosts and had stocked the nest to anticipate our every need. The personal touches they added on our arrival made it one of the most lovely welcomes to a stay we've had. You can clearly see how much effort and time they both put into making our stay the best it could possibly be. Everything in the nest is spotless and the hot tub was amazing! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would. Would highly, highly recommend and we'll definitely be back to try the snug!

Hello, we are Julie, Steve & Gillie Gilpin, together with help from family, friends and a few tradespeople we have lovingly created 'The Snug'. Through our bookings and the wonderful reviews that we have had from our guests we achieved Super Host status after only 3 months of opening, which we are extremely proud of. We are overjoyed that our hard work, design and hosting skills are appreciated so highly by our guests as we have strived to create a luxury yet homely retreat for you to relax and unwind in. We are 'Team' Julie, Steve and Gillie who are here to help from start to finish to make your getaway experience that bit more special. We are here to help with your booking questions, special surprise touches such as decorations for your special events, arranging supplies for your arrival and we also offer a shuttle service from train stations and airports. We are warm friendly and approachable and love to personally meet and greet all our guests. You will be welcomed like friends and treated like family. We all sincerely look forward to meeting and hosting you soon.
