French doors lead out to the decked patio where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee or al fresco dinner, premium accommodation and to top it off your own inviting outdoor hot tub, parking for two cars and Free WI FI. The location of The Birches provides guests with the chance to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The market town of Pocklington is just 3 miles away offering plenty to see and do including a weekly market and lots of quaint shops and pubs. Travel a little further and you can visit the historical city of York. Or if you’re looking for some rural exploration, visit the North York Moors National Park or the Yorkshire Wolds offering stunning scenery and landscapes. Spend your day in the Yorkshire countryside before relaxing in your cosy lodge with your loved ones.

A lovely relaxing stay and very responsive helpful friendly hosts 10/10 would recommend!
Stayed for 3 nights over NYE. The lodge was beautiful and exactly like the pictures! Little gifts were left including mince pies and hot chocolate which was a lovely touch. The lodge had everything you could need for a short break away.l and was very clean and spacious. Good information provided in manual including taxi numbers and takeaways. We had a slight problem with the hot tub on one of the nights, however when I messaged the host they were quick to respond and gave advice on what to do. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely welcome with snacks etc. Clear instructions and easy to access. Great welcome book with lots of recommendations. Definitely recommend and will hopefully visit again.
Excellent Christmas stay, lovely touches for when we arrived. Modern, clean and well presented place. The only suggestion we would have, would be to have the option of some lighting around the hot tub on an evening as it was pitch black.
Amazing stay! We stayed here with friends for a long weekend away. The lodge provided us with everything we needed to have a relaxing time away. Would definitely recommend. The only negative was the hot tub started to smell and a funny colour after we’d been in it a couple of times. The hosts were amazing when we messaged to make sure that everything was sorted.

The Birches is on the Florida Keys park and is situated within the heart of East Yorkshire and very close to the market town of Pocklington which has an abundance of cosy, traditional Yorkshire pubs and eateries along with quaint villages nearby including the sought after village of Wilberfoss. Just a 20 minute drive from “Florida Keys” is York city centre. There is also easy access to Beverley, Driffield, Hull and the East Coast, with a great, regular public bus service with a bus stop at the entrance to the park.. Florida Keys provides easy access to a wide range of recreational opportunities, Millington Woods are just a couple of miles away ,Allerthorpe water park is 10 mins drive away where you can do fishing, kayaking and outdoor activity swimming.
The famous Yorkshire Wolds and surrounding countryside is great for walks and family outings
Wilberfoss is a thriving village and civil parish in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Within the small village you will find a pub, a general store/Post Office, a butcher, a hairdresser, a garden centre and a number of local businesses within the Parish.
Main bus route stops right outside of the parks entrance.
