We had one day of rain but the solace and natural beauty of this spot is incredible. On a sunny day it’s endless water beauty as well and outdoor time on the massive porch or al fresco dining on the screened in sunroom for dining is my favorite!
I cannot say enough about this picturesque spot. Our family of four spent a fall holiday here and miss it already. The cottage is magical- pristine, warm, and wonderfully appointed- chock full of thoughtful amenities compliments of our amazing hosts! We spent each morning on the sun porch with our coffee looking out onto the bay. This place truly feels like a respite from everything though it's centrally located to bakeries, markets, beaches and downtown Historic Duxbury. Ken was everything you could ask for in a host. We cannot wait to return.
This was our second visit to this spectacular cottage by the sea! What a gem. Ken is awesome and so easy to correspond with. We’ll be back!
Ken's cottage was a perfect place to stay. It's very easy to get to local lighthouses, restaurants, historical sites, and local shopping. A small private beach was a block away if you enjoy the sand. If you have questions, Ken was very responsive and easy to talk with. He is also reserved and polite and let us have our privacy when we didn't need help with directions. Ken is the host you hope for using BNB!
This place is absolutely Beautiful! It is right on the water with wonderful sunsets from the deck and enclosed porch. The beds are super comfy, and the shower is very good with lovely towels. Kitchen has everything you need and is roomy enough to work in. The loft area provides a great place for the little ones, if they are along. There is a fire pit and grill on the porch, which make the evenings very special. Ken and his wife are excellent hosts, answering any need quickly and willing to provide great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in town. Will absolutely rent this place again if we are back in the Plymouth, MA area.

My wife and I are native Bostonians and avid boaters. I have spent over 50 years (since I was three) on Duxbury bay. Our children also grew up on the bay; swimming, sailing, and boating. It is truly a magical place. We love hosting guests at Tide-swept. We meet such interesting and fun people from all over the world. It is a pleasure to share our cottage with you!
