PRIVATE WATERFALL You cannot leave without swimming in the breathtaking river & waterfall at Cazuela Park! IT’S SPECTACULAR. In the dry season, you can even swim all the way up to the waterfall and follow the rocks to stand right inside it! (5 min drive from the yurt, 12 min walk) YURT It's brand new, mold-free, cozy & spacious. There's a queen bed with amazing bamboo sheets, and a fold-out futon (best for a small human). The furniture is from Bali, wall art from Egypt, a drum from a native elder in Canada, a vintage mirror, and macrame lovingly made by Katya, the yurt owner. JUNGLE SPA BATHROOM This bathroom is a vibe - it's even bigger than the yurt itself, and is designed to be a romantic jungle experience! Starting with the mosaic tile tub, which took an entire month to finish by hand, one tiny piece at a time! Just add candles, music, and drinks (or some special chocolate :) The enormous rainshower has a mini-garden inside, and color-changing lights to be enjoyed after dark (amazing mood lighting for hanging out in the candlelit tub). Everything here has a story — the evil eye charm is from Greece, the cowrie piece from Morocco, the scarab from Egypt, the voluptuous mermaid from Glastonbury... And of course, our unique selection of books! * There are virtually no mosquitoes, but some bugs do come in because the bathroom is open to the outside. KITCHEN Our beautiful outdoor kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. Cook, make smoothies, and enjoy meals on the breezy deck overlooking the rainforest. There's even a special clay filter for your drinking water. POOL Yes there's a lovely pool. The place would be sad without one!
