Most of the touristic, historical places and restaurants are just around the corner on a maximum radius of 20 minutes on foot.
Cuenca is a quiet city and is only 15-20 minutes away from rivers and nature so you can enjoy an experience out of the ordinary.
If you need to go a little further, there is a tram stop within a 15-minute walk, which crosses the city from east to west.
Taxis are also a very good option and are not expensive at all: our local Uber is called "AzuTaxi" and you will never pay more than 3$.
If you want to take a bus to go to the nearest towns (highly recommended) such as Azogues, Gualaceo, Chordeleg, Ingapirca etc, you can take one of the means above to reach the bus station.
The station is only 3.7 km away.
