Coconut Treehouse is in a quiet, residential area with a large garden surrounded by a privacy wall, yet is only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Unawatuna beach and a 15 minute drive to the historic Galle Fort. The house, with 3 air conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, high-speed internet, and a smart tv, is an antique-style home with high wooden ceilings and a modern open floor plan. This location gives visitors easy access to grocery stores for daily necessities, a yoga studio, and restaurants. The garden is spacious, surrounding the house with trees and plants that are not only beautiful, but also provide an easy chance to see some of the amazing wildlife here. We regularly see monkeys (purple-faced leaf monkeys) and often see iguanas. Bright blue kingfisher birds along with an occasional green parrot or wild peacock can also be seen within the garden.

its a place to be.. Huge, clean, has everything u require.. Peaceful.. we were 4 girls and stayed for 2 nights.. Super safe- the caretaker Shalika helped us with all local recommendations... just perfect. Book this place with eyes closed.. u get exactly what u see .. peace, greenery, amenities and help ..

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location aux beaux volumes, toutes les pièces sont très spacieuses avec beaucoup de rangements et très propres. La propriété est bien sécurisée, caméras extérieures et gardien à côté toujours présent. Dans la cuisine rien ne manque, il y a même une fontaine à eau minérale avec distribution d'eau fraîche et même chaude pour le thé ! On a passé beaucoup de temps soir et matin dans le grand jardin à regarder oiseaux et écureuils, mention particulière pour le magnifique Tchitrec du paradis ou asian paradise flycatcher, magnifique avec ses longues plumes caudales blanches. Pas sûre que l'on puisse voir cet oiseau si facilement ailleurs ! Nuwan bien qu'à distance était prompt à répondre à nos questions, idem pour Shalika qui nous accueille, et est adorable, n'hésitez pas à discuter avec elle. L'environnement est calme. Plages et supermarchés sont facilement accessibles en scooter. En résumé une maison de qualité au confort très appréciable.
Loved our stay at Nuwan’s place ! Our only regret is not staying longer. The place was even bigger than it looked in pictures and we were very comfortable. We loved the back porch and enjoyed watching birds and some monkeys from the rocking chair ! Would absolutely stay again

The surrounding neighborhood is mostly local family residences with some guest houses renting rooms to foreign visitors. It is a quiet, pleasant area. We are a 5 minute drive from the Galle-Matara Road where you can find grocery stores (we like Arpico and Sea Fare Food City), the post office, and other shops. Another 5 minutes and you can be at the beach.
The easiest way to get around is by tuk tuk. We can recommend a good driver. If you have rented a vehicle, there is space to park in front of the house. You can catch a bus on the Galle-Matara Road which is about a 15 minute walk. If you will be coming straight from the airport for your stay at Coconut Treehouse, for your convenience, we can arrange for a van with the driver that we use.
We can also arrange scooters for you to get around while you there.
