Missy was an incredible host! She responded quickly and was so polite. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. Upon arrival we were blown away at how she had considered everything! From umbrellas, pool equipment, blow dryers, and even a golf cart… there was nothing forgotten! There were even board games and ping pong for hours of family fun. We have found one of our new favorite vacation spots at this beautiful cottage. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. It was spotless and inviting. Book the trip! You won’t regret it.
Our stay at FlaminGO Tybee Cottage, though only for one night, was absolutely the best getaway we’ve ever had! The location was wonderful—so peaceful and serene. The highlight of our trip was exploring the area with the provided golf cart, which made getting around both fun and easy. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host had gone above and beyond to provide everything we needed for a perfect stay. One of the most memorable moments was sitting around the fire pit at night chatting over cocktails. The views from the cottage were simply breathtaking, making our short stay feel like a true escape. We can’t wait to return!
I cannot say enough about how amazing Missy was as our host and how lovely her property was. We arrived to Tybee Island on our check-in date, having flown into Savannah airport. We had actually booked our stay with a different Airbnb host but they were not responding to our calls or messages and we found ourselves stranded with nowhere to stay. Enter, Missy! My husband reached out to her and she immediately responded and welcomed us to stay at her property instead. In less than 30 minutes, we were pulling into her driveway and getting settled for the night. The property was perfection! Very clean. Very beautifully decorated. Missy thought of everything! A set of umbrellas by the door. A blender for mixing cocktails. Charging docks for devices. A coffeemaker with option for k cups or fresh brewed. Throw blankets in a basket. A fully equipped kitchen. A free golf cart for trekking to the beach! And anytime we had a question, Missy responded with clarity and kindness. Thanks, Missy!
Our host went above and beyond for our needs with 2 year old! The place was amazing and super nice location in tybee. It was a mile away from the beach. Super clean and very responsive if we had questions. We highly recommend staying here for any occasion! The golf cart was a total plus also to get around the island. I can’t thank her enough for all she did for our family. I also loved the decor 💜 again this place was a 10/10!

FlaminGO Tybee Cottage is a true sanctuary, it's the epitome of privacy on the least traveled street on Tybee Island. I love the laid-back stroll to Sea Wolf Lounge, as it's not only one of the top restaurants on Tybee but it also offers live music.
To live like a local, I highly suggest renting bikes from Tim's bikes and/or a golf cart from Tybee Golf Carts. The entire island is bike and golf cart accessible and it will enhance your stay. You may rent a gas golf cart or an electric golf cart, as I have space for parking and electric hookups.
